Patrick DeCoste
Compared to Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson, Boston native Patrick DeCoste has caught the attention of music fans all across the globe. His experience spans over 3,000 miles: from open mic features in San Diego to singer/songwriter showcases to headlining Boston's successful "Guitar Night" series.
Since the international success of his 2003 demo, Patrick DeCoste has developed a resume that proves he's knocking at the door of today's elite. A year later, the highly anticipated, full-length debut, "Inside The Unsaid", was released to much acclaim: "A cool CD filled with all types of guitar wizardry," beamed Robert Silverstein, editor of "20th Century Guitar Magazine". Over the next year and half, DeCoste was asked to perform at many of Boston's premier music venues and signed on as an Ernie Ball/ Music Man endorsing artist.
After attending the annual NAMM show in January of 2007, DeCoste returned home to an invitation to open for guitar hero, Gary Hoey ("He stands out from many of the upcoming guitar heroes," Hoey says). He has since performed in Newport, RI with another local legend, Johnny A., and performed the "Star Spangled Banenr" in front of 50,000+ avid baseball fans at Shea Stadium - not bad for someone who lets his music do the talking.
